My names Alan Howie and I am the creator of Clicky Gone. I am a dedicated software engineer looking to make my way into the market, I have spent many countless hours and nights studying to better myself. Now I'm looking to prove too possible employers that I am more than capable of performing and developing new skills to meet the needs of the ever changing industry. Why I am able to work under my own initiative to overcome and solve problems.
This is why I have developed an application that is free and Open Source. This allows me to reach a larger community and directly compete against software that resembles mines, software that is free or otherwise. I'm looking to push my product to find out what people think, looking for that constructive criticism in order to better my product, looking for people to get in touch, to give me feed back on my free software and why its not as good as others.
Clicky Gone is a window hider application. It’s used to hide windows on the desktop and the tabs on the task bar. Removing sensitive materials without closing programs or losing documents helps protect your privacy.
If you are running lengthy tasks that’s taking up space on the desktop or the task bar, then you could hide it and then come back to it later. If you are in the office and supposed to be doing work but instead are browsing the net, then the boss walks in then just hit the Boss Keys to hide the active window and optionally mute the sound. You can also optionally hide the windows completely or place an icon to show them in the system tray for lazier access. And if you think that’s lazy, you can also right click the windows caption or task bar button and select the “Hide” item to hide a window without even a single key press.

Lifting heavy metal things to de stress myself, If my arms are tired then I can take a break...
Done a National Certificate course in programming when I was 17. Studying Turbo Pascal, C++ and Visual Basic. The Year I bought my first PC for £80, an i386 that broke down then got replaced with a i486DX 25 MHz. I got laughed at by the sales person, he found them both in the attic. I laughed back when he choked on the dust.
HND Software Development... Big mistake! I learned more doing my NC course... Half way through I found out that over 70 percent of my class were doing Technical Support. Eh? Yes that's right, It was a split class learning very out dated stuff and Technically learning to repair outdated OS's. The programming side (I kid you not) #VB was the hot topic... learning how to do loops and descriptions of strings on a white board with loads of errors in it. It makes you cringe when you see these errors and the lecturer ask's "Does anyone know what this does". I wont even bother telling you my reply to that. I did feel sick afterwards though as I was the only one paying for the course (A class of kids, 22 years and below). I'm now £5000 down and not impressed.
End of Education!
I'm looking to work within a close team as I am feeling all so lonely doing this myself. I'm so eager to learn my pores are bleeding code and feeling like a wasted asset. That chance to get my foot in the door, become something more. I want to help build your business, to become part of something special, to hand out business cards with my name on it. What I want is to develop top quality software...
